As an accomplished clinician with over 45 years of experience, Dr Tariq Ansari leads the team in caring for patients with respiratory illnesses at Emirates International Hospital. His areas of expertise include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and respiratory infections, particularly post-Covid sequelae. Dr. Ansari also supervises the pulmonary function lab at the hospital, analyzing lung function impairment to aid in the diagnosis and management of respiratory illness. Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Ansari has frequently been invited to speak at local and regional medical conferences on respiratory disease. Prior to joining Emirates International Hospital, Dr. Ansari served for 35 years with the UAE Armed Forces with more than 25 years expertise in respiratory medicine and internal medicine specialties.
